I am posting thirty-one (31) pages, in Acrobat format, of history and genealogy about the above families, all of whom are ancestors of Eliza Cunningham, the wife of Montezuma Brothers.
These 31 pages are from a hand made, spiral bound book, about 1 inch thick, that was prepared by Phyllis Egan. Phyllis is a granddaughter of James Luke Brothers and great granddaughter of Montezuma and lived in BC at the time of writing.
In her foreword, Phyllis thanks all those folks who helped in her research,
Ivan Brothers son of Wesley Brothers.

Lois MacKinnon granddaughter of Sarah Brothers and Menno Shoemaker.
Julie Bruce & Melodie Ward who accompanied Phyllis to grave yards and visits with families.
Phyllis says" Undoubtedly there may be some errors insofar as dates are concerned.. Further research, which I will leave to the family genealogists, will supply us with those statistics. But for the present approximate dates will have to suffice in order to complete this story. The purpose of this book is to make a readable story out of the material at hand, and the story is factual".
In the future I will scan and post more pages from Phyllis's book. For the moment I am just focusing on the above Lines.
The pages are not numbered in Phyllis's book and there are occassionally duplications and possibly ommissions.
Good luck piecing these pieces all together.
